Inspired by classmates with autism that he met when he attending Le Murier School, 19 year old James Brehaut has decided to do a fundraising challenge of his own to support people with autism living locally. On Thursday 19th December James will don a Superman outfit and cycle from Town to Vazon, he will then walk to Grande Roques and back before cycling back to Town. He aims to complete the challenge within 3 hours and in doing so raise funds for Autism Guernsey.
Since recovering from a serious knee injury, sustained in a crash while cycling, James has been keen to complete a unique challenge. “When I read about Autism Guernsey I realised that I could help my former classmates so I contacted them and shared the idea” said James.
James will set off from the Liberation Monument in Town next Thursday 19th at 10.30am. Feel free to give our very own Superman a wave or a cheer if you see him on route and if you wish to sponsor please contact James directly at jamesbrehaut@outlook.com
