Open session in Alderney – Friday 3rd October

As a charity with a mission to ensure a positive future for individuals affected by autism across the Bailiwick we have yet to develop any support provision on island in Alderney. In response to recent enquiries from Alderney the staff team felt that the best way to meet need is to start with identifying the needs of the autism community in Alderney.

Therefore our Chief Operating Officer Andy Graham will be visiting Alderney on Friday 3rd October and, following a visit to St. Anne’s school with Graham Fisher from the Education Departments’ Communication and Autism Service, will be holding an open session.

The main aim of the session will be to gather information with a view to exploring what services or support Autism Guernsey may be able to provide to the autism community in Alderney. Anyone is welcome to come along to meet Andy and to discuss any issues related to autism in Alderney.

Where: The Anne French Room, Island Hall

When: Friday 3rd October 12-3pm

If you are unable to make the visit but would like to discuss issues related to autism in Alderney please feel free to contact Andy at the Autism Guernsey office on 727965 or e mail andy.graham@autismguernsey.org.gg
