Child Services
Autism Guernsey provides a range of services to support children and young people within the community in Guernsey. Below is an outline of the services that we provide. For further details please get in touch.
Outreach Services
The outreach service provides tailored and comprehensive support to individuals affected by autism within the community.

Our aim is to empower individuals impacted by autism so that they can have a positive and fulfilling life – making choices that are right for them.

We adapt our services to the individual’s needs. No person is the same and that is something we respect and value.

My Time
An opportunity for children with autism up to school age 5 to play alongside other children in a safe and secure environment. Parents are able to meet one another to share their experiences.

The group is held at Autism Guernsey’s offices.

Siblings welcome.

Thursday 3:45pm - 4:45pm
Coding Club
Autism Guernsey holds a coding club for young people.

Monday 4:00pm - 5:50pm
Anxiety Gremlins
Autism Guernsey provides cognitive behavioural therapy for children, by running ‘Starving the Anxiety Gremlin’ courses. These courses support children to understand what anxiety is, what it feels like, recognise what causes anxiety and how it potentially impacts on them, before supporting individuals to explore and develop their own tools to reduce the impact of anxiety.

Individuals learn how to manage their anxiety effectively and have ownership over the tools they have developed.
The Amazing Club
Due to the success of The Amazing Club we now offer two sessions taking place every Tuesday at the Autism Guernsey offices.
Designed for young people on the autism spectrum, the club offers the chance to make new friends and try something different.

6:00pm - 8:00pm (sch. year 10 - age 18)
